The rotating array of cuts in these boxes is designed to give you the opportunity to try most of the cuts from an animal over the course of a year, with new cuts every month, along with some grind. Not only will you become a member of the Palouse River Beef family and play a contributing role in this adventure, but this offering comes with multiple perks that are listed below.

  • Discounted Price: $200 + shipping (15% discount on standard $236 10 lb. box)

  • Box Weight: Approximately 10 lbs. per box (each box may vary slightly depending on the weight of the animal)

  • Shipping Schedule: Boxes will ship on approximately the first Tuesday of every month starting in October

  • Included Cuts: Every box will be different! A rotating variety of primal, subprimal, and braise cuts will be included. (There are a few cuts that there are only one or two of per animal, those are excluded from this package but can be purchases on the online store separately)

  • Ground Beef: Each box includes 5 lbs of ground beef

  • Flavor Variety: Breed may vary based on availability (Wagyu, Red Devon, F1 or F2)

  • Yes, you can fill out an application to subscribe to “The Herd’’ at any time. If there is a slot open, you will get an email notification explaining that you are in! The following emails will inform you of details on your first box, which will be shipped on the first Tuesday of the next month. If there is no spot open, you will be put on a waitlist.

  • Yes, however, you can only pause your subscription 2 times per year. This is due to the complicated nature of managing a scheduled inventory to ensure that each subscriber gets their correct amount of beef each month. You can also temporarily switch addresses for your subscription. If you are traveling, you can always send your beef to a loved one!

  • It is a surprise. This subscription is a rotating array of different cuts of steaks, braises, and grind designed to allow each member of “The Herd” to try nearly each cut from an animal over the course of a year. Each month will be a different array of primal, sub-primal, and braise cuts as well as 5lbs of grind.

  • Boxes will be shipped out on the first Tuesday of every month. We ship UPS next day air, so you should get your box by the end of the day Wednesday.

  • You will be charged automatically on the 1st of every month.
